Go straight for a concealed carry permit, forget the permit to purchase..It's stupid.. I've been waiting 2 weeks now for a Permit to Purchase, only to have the girl tell me today that the chief of police doesn't let them have much time to process them. So their website that says 7-10 days is actually 2-3 weeks.
Accidentally locked myself out of my car, and they helped me get my keys! Very polite, and extremely helpful! Thanks again!
They have a good group of officers. Never had a bad experience with them. Officers at the school(s) were always friendly. Once they we're looking for someone and ask for our permission to go through our land. Very polite and professional.
